- The Chinese Embassy have authorised the Chinese Visa Application Service Centre to deal with visa applications – and below we are providing you with the link to their website which explains in detail the process for either obtaining your visa in person, or by post. The turnaround time by post is approximately 2 weeks. The cost of going through this service centre for a normal single entry visa will now be a total cost of £64.50 per person.

Regarding documentation, you will need to provide a completed visa application form (download form)*, a passport photo, a payment authorisation form and a checklist form. You will also require written confirmation of your flight details, hotels and full itinerary.
*PLEASE NOTE WHEN DOWNLOADING THE VISA FORM THAT IT MUST BE PRINTED DOUBLE SIDED. THE EMBASSY WILL NOT ACCEPT FORMS PRINTED ON 2 SEPARATE PAGES.
