Day 1 - London Heathrow to Tokyo
Depart London Heathrow for international flight to Tokyo Narita.
Day 2 - Tokyo arrival
Arrive in Tokyo Narita Airport, be greeted and transfer by airport bus to Keio Plaza Hotel. The hotel is
located in the skyscraper Shinjuku district directly opposite to Tokyo Metropolitan Government buildings.
Shinjuku is the most modern area of Tokyo. Rest of day free.
Day 3 - Tokyo
Morning pick up from hotel and join full day Tokyo coach tour - start with a tour to Tokyo Tower and enjoy a
panoramic view from its observatory. Then you will continue to the "Happoen" Japanese Garden, where you
will have the opportunity to take part in a traditional tea ceremony. The tour then continues to the Imperial
Palace Plaza with a short photo stop. You will then have a barbecue lunch at Chinzanso Restaurant. After
lunch, you will drive past the National Diet Building (the Japanese House of Parliament) and then take a 40
minute Sumida River cruise from Hinode pier of Tokyo Bay to Asakusa. The tour finishes with a visit to the
Asakusa Kannon Temple and Nakamise Shopping Street. (B, L)
Day 4 - Tokyo / Nikko
Morning pick up from hotel for one day coach tour to Nikko, one of Japan's most beautiful regions. You'll
enjoy visiting Nikko Toshogu Shrine, famous for its Cultural World Heritage. Afterwards travelling up
Irohazaka to Lake Chuzenji and Kegon Waterfall, considered one of the three most beautiful waterfalls in
Japan. Return to Tokyo in the evening. (B, L)
Day 5 - Tokyo / Mt Fuji / Hakone
Morning pick up from hotel and join Mt Fuji / Hakone full day tour by deluxe motorcoach. Visit the Fuji
Centre and then drive halfway up Mt Fuji to the 5th Station, enjoying the natural scenery en route. Then stop
for lunch at the Hotel Highland Resort, before continuing to Lake Ashi for a relaxing cruise. Take a ride on
the Mt Komagatake Aerial Cableway, where you will get sweeping views of the celebrated Hakone National
Park and Mt Fuji from a distance. Return to Tokyo late afternoon / early evening. (B, L)
Day 6 - Tokyo / Kamakura
Morning pick up from hotel and join Kamakura Walking tour, visiting Hase Kannon Temple, Great Buddha,
Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, Komachi Shopping Street etc. Return to Tokyo later in the afternoon.

Day 7 - Tokyo - Kyoto
Take own taxi or metro to Tokyo Station for Shinkansen Bullet Train to Kyoto. Upon arrival, take own taxi to
Yoshi-Ima Ryokan. Rest of day at leisure. (B)
Day 8 - Kyoto
Morning pick up from hotel and join Kyoto 1 day tour covering the Golden Pavilion, Kyoto Imperial Palace,
Heian Shrine, Sanjusangendo and Kiyomizu Temple.
Evening pick up from ryokan and enjoy Maiko night tour, you will meet a Maiko (young Geisha), enjoy a
traditional Japanese "Maiko" dance and a tempura dinner. (B, L, D)
Day 9 - Kyoto / Nara
Afternoon pick up from hotel and join Nara afternoon tour - visit the Todaiji Temple, Nara Park, Kasuga
Shrine. Return to hotel later in the evening. (B)
Day 10 - Kyoto - Hiroshima
Take own taxi to Kyoto Station for Shinkansen bullet train to Hiroshima. Upon arrival, check in to Hotel
Granvia adjacent to Hiroshima Station. Rest of day free to explore. (B)
Day 11 - Hiroshima - Tokyo
Take Shinkansen Bullet Train back to Tokyo. Upon arrival, take own taxi to Keio Plaza Hotel. (B)
Day 12 - Tokyo
Free day at leisure. (B)
Day 13 - Tokyo to London Heathrow
Coach transfer from hotel to Narita Airport for flight home. (B)
